The last book in the bible, Revelation, contains recorded prophesies of things that are to take place upon this earth plus what is to become of individuals. If this book is
absolutely true, whether you choose to believe or not, will not change what is prophesied to take place. You can choose to ignore that this book exist and ignore everyone that tell you what you do or choose not to do will effect your future to the point that you will have to deal with it for an eternity (forever with no end). In addition to what is prophesied to take place on the earth, there is something written that effects you and I directly. Ignoring this prophesy will cause those who ignore it to experience a painful eternal existance they will never be able to turn away from. Here is the prophesy that effect you and I:
And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judge out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. (Revelation 20:12-15 kjv)
If you do not know what you must do to avoid this horrible end, you should be asking what must you do to be saved? The answer follows.
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved. He who believes in him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. (John 3:16-19 nkjv)
You might be asking, but what about the books with the things I've done that did not please God recorded in them? Innocent Jesus suffered and died, spending 3 days in hell on your behalf in order that your wicked deeds be wipe out of the books and your name could be recorded in the book of life; but if you do not accept his sacrifice on your behalf and commit to changing your ways and living according to God's principles, you will not reap the benefits of Jesus suffering. Without accepting Jesus, you are damned
and will be cast into the lake of fire. The prophesy of the benefit of Jesus suffering on our behalf was prophesied and recorded even before he was born into this world. Read the benefit we have reap because of Jesus suffering on our behalf. It follows.
Surely he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we exteemed Him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon him, and by his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned, every one, to his own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth. He was taken from prison and from judgement. And who will declare his generation? For he was cut off from the land of the living; for the transgression of my people he was stricken. And they made his grave with the wicked---but with the rich at his death, because he had done no violence, nor was any deceit in his mouth. Yet it please the Lord to bruise him; he has put
him to grief. When You make his soul an offering for sin, He shall see his seed. He shall prolong His days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand. He shall see the labor of His soul, and be satisfied. By his knowledge, My righteous servant shall justify many, for he shall bear their iniquities. Therefore I will divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong, because he poured out his soul unto death. (Isaiah 53:4-12 nkjv)
After Jesus Christ ressurected from the dead, he gave these instructions to those who believed on him: "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will besaved; but he who does not believe will be condemned". (Mark 16:15,16 nkjv)
I believe. Others that have come to believe have continued to spread the gospel (the good news), and the message of what Jesus has done to benefit mankind has been spreading over the earth.
